Barks & Brews isn’t your average beer festival — it’s a tail-wagging celebration set in the heart of Stoudtburg Village, a German-inspired community tucked away in Reinholds, PA.
Created from a love of great craft beer, local community, and four-legged friends, Barks & Brews was designed to bring people together for a laid-back afternoon where pups and people can socialize, explore vendors, support animal rescues, and enjoy the best flavors our local breweries and food trucks have to offer.
What started as a fun idea quickly became a can’t-miss event — a place where dog lovers connect, local businesses shine, and every ticket helps spotlight rescue organizations doing incredible work for animals in need.
Now growing into a beloved annual tradition, Barks & Brews blends craft beverages, live music, artisan vendors, adoptable dogs, and an atmosphere that feels more like a community celebration than a festival.

What Is Barks & Brews?
Barks & Brews isn’t your average beer festival — it’s a dog-friendly community celebration set in the heart of Stoudtburg Village in Reinholds, PA. We’re bringing together craft breweries, rescue organizations, food trucks, local vendors, and live entertainment for one unforgettable afternoon.
Whether you're coming for the drinks, the dogs, or the atmosphere, expect tail wags, cold pours, great food, and a whole lot of good vibes for humans and pups alike.

- General Admission – Entry to the event + access to vendors, rescues, music, and food trucks
- Beer Ticket Options – Choose your ticket type at checkout (limited capacity)
- Supporting Rescues – A portion of proceeds helps spotlight and support participating rescue organizations

Dog Friendly
Well-behaved, leashed pups are welcome! Please keep dogs on a standard leash (no flexi leads), and be mindful of other dogs and guests. Bonus points for costumes, bandanas, or a pup who looks like they’s ready to run the show.

Meet the Founders
Mike Gordon Jr.
I’m Mike Gordon Jr., a REALTOR® based in Ephrata and one of the people behind Barks & Brews. This event reflects a few things I care deeply about—community, local businesses, and dogs. The idea for the event came from the Bannons, and it immediately clicked. It felt like something worth bringing to life here in Stoudtburg Village.
A big part of why this event matters to me is my rescue schnauzer, Barney. He’s a daily reminder of how much joy a dog can bring into your life, and how important it is to support the rescues and organizations that make those stories possible. Barks & Brews isn’t just about having a great time (though we definitely will)—it’s about bringing people together, supporting a good cause, and creating something meaningful for the community.
If you’re there, come say hi—there’s a good chance I’ll be hanging out with Barney or talking with someone about dogs, real estate, or both.
Erin & Jon Bannon
Jon and Erin Bannon played a big role in bringing this idea to life. Erin is a local nurse who spends her days taking care of people, and Jon is the owner of Total Dog & A Little Cat in Adamstown, where his passion for animals shows in everything he does. Jon trained under Peter Green and has built a reputation for truly understanding dogs—not just how they behave, but how they thrive.
Their King Charles Cavalier, Hilda, was recently recognized as a champion in the AKC world, which speaks to the level of care and dedication they bring to what they do. More than that, they’re just great people who care about the community and the animals in it, which is exactly what Barks & Brews is all about.
